"Good place to walk and fine shells. The dirt road that goes along the bay has a ton of birds around this time. Also great walk for dogs and dirt bikes. It was isolated and overall a great view for bird watching."

"What an amazing place! Beautiful sunny day in October. Nearly a secluded beach. Only saw a couple people in the few hours we were there. Several different paths to follow. The Bay on one side, the ocean on the other: Bayocean. Really cool history too."

"Gorgeous beach. Great view of the Pacific Ocean! I went there with a friend one afternoon. There was limited parking and people on the beach. We saw parts of jellyfish had washed up, so be careful with children or going barefoot. The views of the cliffs and fog on both sides were amazing. Must see!"

"Not many people here so you got the place to yourself. Trails in every direction so be ready to hike. If not in the mood to hike it’s just a small walk to the beach to relax and watch the ocean come in. If that doesn’t hit the spot you can hike to the east side and look at Tillamook bay which has beautiful mountains view and Bay City."

"Amazing park, said it once and I’ll forever say it. Trails for miles, secluded beach, parking, history. Absolutely beautiful place to spend the afternoon. Make sure to walk the trails to visit the old town of Bay Ocean, there are canisters with photos inside of what used to be. Folks are very respectful here, bring your mask with you as the trails can get tight when you pass by others. Not that it happens often with this park being so big but you know. Be sure to keep your phone or something on you, using my satellite map helped me get out or know which direction to head in when I was on the trails. It’s a little easy to get disoriented. There’s a vault toilet at the parking lot to be sure to use it as that’s all you got. No picnic tables or anything either so if you want to have a little lunch bring a blanket or feel free to set up in the parking lot. Looks like others do the same."
