"SAIF- this “non profit” company that advertises and charges employers big money to insure their injured workers. This company has billions in their reserve because they do not help people. Be prepared to burn through your retirement and go into bankruptcy, do everything you can to keep your home! Their business model is to starve you into a settlement. Get a lawyer and don’t settle. Ask to go to Work man’s comp board for every denial and anytime they decide to stop your payments. Also don’t forget to ask for a Voc rehab assessment, if don’t ask they won’t tell you that you can be retrained and go back to work. Do not count on your payments to come, they will stop paying you and it can take a few months to find out why. Fingers crossed that you have private insurance if you need urgent surgery. They won’t pay for your medical needs either. Don’t pay for this insurance if your company can go with another plan! Do not feel SAFE with saif. I thought I was. What a scam! They are laughing all the way to the bank. ( Check how much is in SAIF’s reserves today) Workers in Oregon deserve better than this."

"I would rather go back to work injured then receive money from these people it's a corrupt insurance company they don't care the money that they issue out is not livable. You do not get the correct amount every 2 weeks this insurance company is a big fraud and they settled the same with everyone. My advice get a attorney."

"Get an attorney asap, if not, trust that they will do EVERYTHING THEY CAN to NOT get you proper medical help to help your needs from work related injuries. Save all your emails, voice-mail, letters, names and times of calls or no calls, late pays everything record it all and get an attorney to turn in EVERYTHING so they can pay for what happen from your injuries from work. They will do everything to not help, nor pay and throw you out there still hurting from your injuries!! This is what they do and taught to do. They are NOT THERE to help you!! Please get an attorney!! Cause this place has no heart to help you."

"Not helpful , case workers help but don't. Give you info on basics but after that your on your own. They screw with pay, not giving you full info or understanding, once your case gets deep, no answers witu emails or calls to and from your case worker. Don't be forced to see their connections to doctors etc etc , find your own and make sure to save all your emails and call info & GET AN ATTORNEY, show him her whats going on, paperwork, emails and calls not return. WE shouldn't be punish for the injury we had due to companies not being safe. And we shouldn't be treated like its our fault when it wasnt. Watch yourself with these people and attorney up!! Will update my case worker name once case is closed after lawsuit."
