The Matisse

"Naomi in the office is not a very nice lady. Let me also count the reasons why this place is not a home and is more suited for a prison: You can’t cook foods in unit as fire alarm continually goes off from minimal amounts of smoke. The air conditioner will randomly over full and drip water all over your clothes. This happened 3 times in our unit. With the maintenance man telling me it’s normal and would happen again. When my washer and dryer was fixed twice after breaking they maintenance left my door not attached and it’s just sitting there in a studio apartment. I’d love to contact the office but Naomi ignores emails and goes out of her way to make my life challenging. The walls are very thin to a point of hearing neighbors conversations. The rent doesn’t include an additional 200-300 for garbage and water. Both of which are typically included in rent at most communities like this. Security can randomly pound on your door for no reason if they hear anything in your unit as the prowl the halls like correctional officers. The hallways smell like garbage. The office staff is not helpful nor are they pleasant people to ever deal with. Construction at the neighboring site begins as early as 5am and is very loud. Homeless people are every where. Dog feces everywhere around the grounds. People here are not pleasant. Do not every expect to say hello and smile to a neighbor. I was given a sound complaint on 2 occasions while I was out of town on business and had no one in the unit. I am not a child. I am a 40 year old adult. I have never lived in an environment like this. I highly regret my choice to live here and have not felt at home since I have. In conclusion I do not recommend this housing community. Naomi is a horrible human being and not good at her job."

"Love the location, close to everything. The staff is great! Very helpful and has a sense of urgency. Tani has been amazing from day one! Love the remodeled lounge and business center. Rooftop sunbathing is always a good idea! Shout out to Brandon and his maintenance team, they take care of business! Thank you!! Life is better with a rooftop Old Fashion."

"An excellent community with ample facilities. A perfect place for a family with rooftop lounge, resident lounge, business center, and garage parking facilities. The apartment comes with A/C and the most important thing for us was the whole apartment was carpeted, which was perfect for our baby who just started walking. Everyone at the office and maintenance staffs are super friendly and easy to communicate with! Very happy that we choose Matisse as our home for the foreseeable future!"

"I have lived at the Matisse for over a year now and have been nothing but pleased. The folks working in the leasing office are extremely communicative, friendly, and conscientious of the residents’ needs. The building itself is very clean, safe, quiet, and has newly renovated community spaces! The area that the building is located in is modern, clean, safe, and has lots of food, exercise, and entertainment options. I highly recommend living here!"
