"I had a great experience here. I had my first baby here and everyone was very nice and helpful. They made me feel comfortable. I had a ten pound baby and had a c-section. All my nurses and my doctor said I was good to go by the third day but one random doctor tried to have me stay another day but I felt well enough and wanted to go home to feel more comfortable, I believe it was Dr.Park/Parks? I only met him the last two hours of my stay and didn't understand why he wanted me to stay another day when all my nurses and other doctors said I was good to go if I wanted to. He felt really pushy and gave off a sense of disapproval when I told him I haven't decided on a pediatrician yet. When he found out that I have a seizure disorder he tried really hard to get more information about my medication, which I was uncomfortable with since he wasn't my neurologist or a neurologist in general. I would have given a 5 star review if he hadn't been involved."

"I didn’t know where to go and give a review for nurses but every nurse I had were amazing. From the delivery unit I had Kayla, Sheena, Sharon, and Alli They were just so wonderful and comforting. They made my experience much more worthwhile!! In the Mother Baby unit I had Deven the two nights I stayed and I absolutely loved Deven she was always so helpful and kind to us. She was very attentive and amazing at her job. I was sad to leave the hospital just because I miss her that much!"

"My experiences here have been great for labor and delivery. Dr. Stacy McCarty is AMAZING. I also had a nurse named Savannah that helped and stayed with me even after she was supposed to go home just because she was helping me get through my labor and I begged her not to leave."

"I have had 2 children at this hospital, and I absolutely loved it. My son was born on April 30th 2022, and all of the staff was absolutely amazing. Olga was my nurse through my short, hard, fast labor, and she was seriously my saving grace. She helped me through my contractions and I successfully had my son without an epidural, something I didn't think I was capable of. Unfortunately, my son did have to spend 6 days in the NICU, but all of the nurses and doctors who took care of him did an amazing job. They kept my husband and I well informed of what was going on. Thank you Salem Hospital. You are all amazing and wonderful ❤️"

"I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had to after having my baby here. I honestly don’t think I could have had a better experience. I ended up having an unplanned c-section after carefully talking it over with my doctor and midwife. My baby was born safely and we were taken care of amazingly by the nurses. Everyone was so accommodating with taking care of us and answering any questions I or my fiancé had. They asked for permission to do any tests or give the baby any shots. I’m excited and comforted that when I have another baby in the future we will be taken care of by this awesome staff."
