"EDITED TO UPDATE 2/13/2024: I was just called YET AGAIN by the office staff and told that they've made yet another error in my son's paperwork, and need me to correct their mistake. When I asked the office staff member why there were so many mistakes, and then began telling her what they were, she hung up on me. I called back, and waited on hold for over 16 minutes to talk to an office manager/Patient Advocate named Andrea, who informed me she'd "look into it". After she informed me that she didn't possess the paperwork containing the initial complaints that I'd already filled out and sent in. Truly, if Matt Stark were not such a superstar care provider, I would leave the office entirely. To all patients, I suggest you forgo handing the office staff anything and ask that it be dealt with directly by your care provider to ensure you receive the best care. I have lowered my rating by one more star because of the appalling lack of professionalism shown by the office staff. Original Review from 2/8/2024: If I were reviewing just the doctors and physician's assistants, I would give 5 stars, but because I also have to interact with the office staff, I am giving an honest 3 stars, along with an explanation as to why. First of all, let me sing the praises of the physicians and their assistants. They are fantastic because they take the time to listen to the patients (and underage patient's guardians), gather all the facts, carefully review information and then give a knowledgeable, compassionate response filled with treatment options. Matt Stark especially has blown me away with his knowledge of the boy brain and all his fantastic ideas for raising a hyperactive boy in a world that seems to dull boys down. My son's initial reaction to Matt Stark was an enthusiastic "he gets me, Mom!" I concur. If more doctors were like Matt Stark, less boys would be on medication and more families would be healthier all around. I cannot say enough good things about him. Now, as for the office staff...the level of unprofessionalism displayed by many of them is appalling. From my initial introduction when I was the only patient in line to check in and had to wait several minutes for two of them to complete their personal conversation about weekend plans while seated at their computers, facing the front door - to the latest issue with them making a mistake and calling me five times, blaming me and demanding I fix their mistake. I am feeling really frustrated. Twice, I have had to take the same piece of paper in for their front staff to photocopy because they did not realize, despite being told - that the paper was doubled sided. Then, minutes after my husband took it in a THIRD time, they had the audacity to call me and complain that they still did not have the paperwork, and when I pressed the issue, asking if they photocopied both sides this time, she realized her mistake and told me she would call me AGAIN later with results. I have an appointment scheduled for later in the month to go over the results.... No, thank you. If all of these issues Get yourselves together! occurred over a lengthy period of time, I would brush it off. But I have only been going to this clinic for two months....and every single one of these issues occurred within the last few weeks. Come on, kids. Professional behavior is still expected by the clients and patients. It is a major red flag to me as a parent that my son's paperwork is being so badly mishandled. Is it too much to ask that some care be shown?"

"Both Dr. Emo and her nurse were really nice. They explained things very well. they answered all my questions and explained step-by-step of what they were doing with the procedure. The only unfortunate thing was that they took a biopsy, but then they weren’t able to offer any type of pain management. They weren’t able to offer even a little Tylenol. It would’ve taken care of the pain at least a little bit. I wasn’t sure whether or not I had any pamprin in my purse. I thought that I left it at home. thankfully on my way out I was able to find some. but I would highly recommend that they work on pain management a lot more. especially when it comes to things like biopsies. I did like that they offered me a few pads because there was expected to be some light bleeding over the next few days."

"This review is for Maria, Dr. Emo's nurse or medical assistant. She was straightforward, explained things well, took time to answer questions, treated me with dignity and respect and compassion."

"Would not give any stars if possible but had to give one to be able to comment. I've had to reschedule my appointment several times. 1st time was because they did not communicate properly where they were located, only said do you know where evergreen is located? Well the evergreen I know is on edenbower but nope that's not the one. Understandable.. Fine I rescheduled. Then they cancel and move my appointment and do not notify me. Claimed they did.. They didn't even have the right phone number..... I was referred by my regular doctor which has my accurate phone number so not really a viable excuse there but whatever 3rd times a charm I guess?.....so low and behold 3rd appointment time and I am running late due to unavoidable traffic accident. I missed work for this appointment and I live 43 miles away because that's how Douglas county is.....11 minutes late and they have to reschedule me Again??!!!.....in bigger cities people can be up to 20 minutes late with no issues or problems at all but 11 minutes was just too much?? ...so now I'm going on 4 months waiting for this appointment I am having major issues and pain and mental suffering but all well I guess"
