"I was offered $12 by the clinic to not write this review before we get started. THE DR's AND TECH's WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE ABOUT HOW THEY BILL, THEY WILL MAKE YOU SIGN A FORM TO COVER THAT LIE. If you dont want to sign the form you will not get a prescription. When you question them on the bill they will say its your fault for not reading your benefits package in full and for not reading their policies in full. I'm new to the area and have had contacts for 20 years. This place is highway robbery and took advantage of me not reading their policies in full before my visit. I've never heard of a "Contact fitting appointment" in all my years of wearing contacts, which is essentially my entire life, but they made me have one to get a contact prescription. The DR assured me that this will be billed all as one visit, THAT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. I asked 4 separate times, I asked the DR twice, the tech once and the contact fitting tech once. Every time they said this will be billed as one visit. THIS IS A LIE. As soon as billing people got on the phone they said that they have NEVER billed that way and are completely dumbfounded that EVERYONE ELSE in the clinic thinks that they do bill as one visit. They will make you sign a consent form for the contact fitting fee, that's their ace in the hole. You can't say no and still get a contact prescription, so doesn't really feel like "consent". They will then bill you for $150 on top of the eye exam, your benefits will not cover that full amount. The contact fitting exam takes less than 10 minutes, so that's over $900 an hour they make for these exams, to essentially look at your eye and say "you're good". The billing department said that this isn't their fault because even though it was said out loud to me 4 separate times that this would be billed as a single visit, their policy says otherwise. Their knee jerk reaction was to say "Well we have your signature on a consent form saying to charge you for the contact fitting exam". If you go there you MUST scrutinize every piece of paper put in front of you. This place wont keep to their word, and if they aren't good for their word then do you really want to trust them with your health."

"I was referred by my doctor to this clinic I got a call from them and a Mail for an appointment at 10/18/23 at 7:40am. Today I went to My appointment, I checked in, but the receptionist couldn't find me in the system I took my mail with my appointment card 15 later another,Lady came in and talked to me and told me the she forgot to saved my appointment on the system they scheduled me an appointment for the next week instead. I took the day off work for this appointment it was very inconvenient for me and a really bad first time experience ."

"I had a very positive experience at my eye appointment yesterday! All the staff were very friendly and helpful from checking in to checking out! Dr. Kwong was very thorough and I felt like he explained things on my level and he asked several times if I had any questions. I will definitely be coming back in the future, and bringing my husband!"

"Adam Shupe is a great doctor. He was great with my young son, my father and myself. Went there for a couple of years with no issue. On my last appointment however, my insurance had changed. When I called to make the appointment, I was told they couldn't even schedule the appointment before verifying insurance. So I provided the new information, she verified it was in network and scheduled the appointment. I showed up, provided a copy of my insurance, and still was not notified of any issue. A few weeks after the appointment, I received a bill for almost $300! When I called and asked why, I was then told they didn't take my insurance and that is why I received the bill. Absolutely incompetent and ridiculous. After several months of arguing they finally offered me a 20% discount to compensate me for my troubles. Will never go back there again."
