"Went in with foot pain during and after work. My initial appointment lasted approx. 3 minutes with a doctor, where he said I have flat feet (I do and I've known for awhile) and he suggested custom arch supports. I get my supports and I wear them every day, all the time, for 2 months or so with no change. I go back in where my doctor suggests an MRI since I'm still in pain. After getting an MRI is revealed that I had a partial tear in a muscle in my ankle. My doctor says I'm going to need surgery and I say lets do it. I get the surgery where he reconnects the muscle and overtightens it since it will loosen back up over time. After being off work for 3 months and 10 months after the procedure I was still in the same amount of pain so I finally go to get a second opinion which I should've done to start with. The second opinion reveals that the surgery was basically pointless to help with my pain. I had 3 appointments before my surgery all lasting less than 5 mins each. I was blessed to have very good insurance that covered almost all of this but am still left to wonder was this $16k+ surgery even worth it. The staff was very friendly and kind but my doctor just seemed in a rush every appointment I had"

"What an arrogant little person, Dr Scott is. After reading reviews, we'll see if this stays up and/or if he'll just respond in the same belligerent and mocking manner he did anyone else leaving less than stellar comments. I've heard positive things about Dr Berg, but pay close attention to the reviews for Dr. Scott and the responses from him. Both leave him looking lncompetent and arrogant. After dropping the ball and not getting all the necessary information to Salem hospital, my Wed surgery was canceled on Tues. I had called repeatedly the week prior asking to address these issues. When i got upset, i used foul language at the end of the call as i was hanging up. I heard the girl say something as i was hanging up so i called back immediately and apologized and was assured everything was fine and i would be receiving a call on Thurs. from the surgery scheduler. This surgeon did 1 xray, 1 cortisone shot and a 5 minute exam before he declared surgery was needed. I just called and was told that 'because of the language i used", Dr Scott treat me and won't perform surgery at all. I am sorry his staff heard me as i hanging up but you should think he could at least let me know hIs office did hear me and he was firing me as a patient . After reading his reviews on Yelp, it sounds like i definitely dodged a bullet there. His blasé, " you'll be in a boot for at least a month" and his "oh yah, I'll probably go in again and remove the screws" like it's nothing. And i realize that to him, it is nothing... just another money making surgery for him. But for ME, it's a whole big deal. So be forewarned, they will leave you waiting for hours, and apparently when they screw up, you are not allowed to call them on it, get angry or express yourself in response to their inadequacy...especially if it's regarding Scott I will be filling a complaint with the medical board after the holidays regarding the poor service and lack of communication, to begin with. After further review, i guess mr scott doesn't actually practice his Mormon belief of forgiveness. What a poor example. I hope he's not in my ward. Just an average surgeon with a god complex. The sarcasm and belligerence in his response to any negative reviews should be noted as well. He either lies, or just flat out mocks anyone who dare say anything negative about him. That in itself is so unprofessional and telling. Let's see how he chooses to try to disrespect and mock ME now.... or maybe he'll tell me how important he is, like when it was pointed out that "there was a life and death situation and i was needed to determine whether they were treated or left to die in peace"..when another patient pointed out the longer than normal wait time and was unhappy with both that AND his care. He made sure to tell everyone it was a matter of life and death and that's why he was both late and dismissive. He must consider himself one of those "perfect" Mormons who don't make mistakes and therfore,, don't accept apologies either. Mr Scott never even bothered to call and tell me himself that he was refusing to treat me... just had his staff inform me when I called to talk to the office yet AGAIN to get ANOTHER update. I admit i cursed at the end of the call, but it wasn't AT someone and I called back and apologized at least twice that same day. Glad his staff was acting more forgiving and understanding than the doctor himself. But now I'm thinking that i may have dodged a bullet after reading more of his reviews...a blessings in disguise so to speak."

"Had a wonderful experience at Coastline!! Both doctors are great and so is their staff! Dr. Scott and Dr. Berg have both taken care of any foot issues I’ve had in the past 4 years. 10/10 recommend!"

"Shout out and big thank you to Dr. Berg and staff. On Monday afternoon I had a last minute need for an important appointment. I was leaving town early Tuesday morning and had forgotten to make an appointment for the cortisone shot that seriously relieves my insane plantar fasciitis pain. It was a little after 3. They close 4. When Dr Berg heard my need he had me come right in. I've been his patient for about a year and find him to be the best in the valley. He's attentive, kind, caring and really smart. And bonus for me… he has a great sense of humor. You can tell he really likes his job and cares about his staff and patients."

"I was very disappointed with my first appointment with a Dr. Scott. My appointment was at 3:00 pm. I finished my paperwork and was taken back at 2:45 p.m., being they weren't busy and I was the only waiting patient. I was left sitting in the exam room for 40 minutes without any explanation from the staff. I was offered no apology or explanation when Dr. Scott finally entered the room. He only mocked my frustration of time waiting for him. He showed very little interest in my expressed issues. He dismissed my history of planter facsitis while saying my symptoms were from my back problems. I had to pull information from him to get any answers to my questions while feeling rushed to get 10 minutes max of his time. As he got up to leave, I asked his name because he hadn't bothered to introduce himself to me when he entered my room."
