"My mother was undiagnosed for 2 years. After a massive heart attack, stent and ablation, OHSU properly diagnosed 2 major conditions. Leaving those off here due to patient confidentiality. Our first follow up appointment since her heart attack SIX MONTHS ago and they were over an hour late and left us in a room with no communication. It’s very difficult to trust this clinic. Their website touts respect, integrity and compassion. I have seen none of these qualities and we will be going to see some real doctors at OHSU"

"The doctors and staff are very good but there is always an extended wait time. I always arrive at least 5 minutes before my appointment time but always have to wait at least 45 minutes to see the doctor. My time is valuable too."

"Worst experience I have ever had with a doctors office! After a referral was sent it took forever to get an appointment. Not because they didn't have openings, but because they just would not communicate or even bother to answer the phone... and God forbid they actually initiate a phone call. If you want to actually talk with them try their billing department, I guess if they think you're trying to make a payment then you're important. And if you don't stay on top of them about sending labs, scheduling tests, doctors signing off on other releases for procedures or follow-up appointments, they will not do it! When you finally get frustrated and go in personally, the Mexican gals working at the front desk are full of attitude. I never Write reviews, but I had to on this. Patients beware."

"Now that my husband's procedure is complete, I feel the need to share how awful this medical facility has been. They never explain any testing, before or after. Doctors are never available after a test, you have to come back & even then they don't share results with you, just set you up for next test. At one follow-up, my husband was given next appointment. with Dr. which made us feel we were almost to surgery. Before he was home, office called to cancel that appointment & squeezed in another test. That call was dropped before scheduler could give us all the info, but no return call. After 4 messages left with them, each more anxious than the last, still no return call. Finally, the nurse of the heart surgeon at the hospital where surgery was to be preformed called to explain all that still needed to be done preceding surgery. And set the date for the surgery. No one at Cascade Cardiology has ever answered the phone or returned a call after message was left. No written materials were ever provided. Very unprofessional one & all."

"While providers may be great, they won't be able to get you in for procedures any time soon, even if it's urgent or an emergency expect a few months. We need an approval for emergency surgery for agressive cancer (surgery was cancelled in the OR because of heart concerns) and weeks could mean losing organs. But our cardiologist can't give approval without an echo and mri. Which the office can't schedule in under 6 weeks, possibly longer if past experience is anything to go by. Since the heart isn't definitely the urgent matter, they won't rush anything, even if the cancer will be too far along to stop by the time this place can give him approval to treat it."
