Canby Eyecare

"I am super disappointed with how I have been treated at Canby Eyecare which is unfortunate as I did like the doctor. I was switched to Soft contacts as they are supposed to be so much better for your eyes but somehow they could not decide what my prescription should be. I was supposed to try a couple of different ones and let them know which I liked better. My eyes were so fatigued at the end of a work day I couldn't wait to get home and get them out of my eyes. I have switched back to my old hard lenses and everything is great. I also bought a new pair of glasses - the most expensive glasses I have ever gotten in over 50 years of wearing them. Unfortunately, I cannot see with them - they give me headaches and they did some odd polishing of the edges so I look super weird wearing them. I have complained and gotten no where - NO refund or discount was offered which I think is simply not acceptable. If you need to spend your hard earned dollars on glasses go anywhere else!"

I have been a patient with Dr. Malensky for 10 years. Who would have thought going to the optometrist would be so fun? I definitely recommend this place to all ages!"

"This was my first visit to this eye clinic. Upon calling the receptionist was able to get me scheduled for a same day appointment, which was great because it was an emergency! When I arrived they remembered that I stated my eye was super sensitive to light and gave me some shaded glasses while I waited to be seen. Everyone was very personable and let me know information that really helped make sense of what was happening with my eye issue. I cannot say enough about how quickly everyone worked to get me relief as soon as possible, everyone was great from the time I arrived until I was finished with my visit. 10 out of 10 and would definitely come in for other eye health needs!"

The Dr. was so detailed in her exam and really took time to identify problems. She explained next steps and it was a breath of fresh air to have a new eye doctor that was so amazing. I definitely would recommend the clinic to everyone wanting a kind, professional experience. Also, they have a great cash price for non insured eye patients."
