"Dr. Voves and Colleen are lovely. I just didn't feel like I connected with Voves as I had hoped. I'm not sure if my expectations are realistic since I'm new to this but I guess I was hoping for someone to tell me what I needed vs my regular doc office who waits for me to contact them. I gave it 6 months but not much was going on so I decided to explore other providers. I was hoping to end my membership on good terms in case I do want to return but I got hassled over 1 months notice and forfeiting the last months at sign up. I was aware that the "last months" deposit would be held if I canceled before year end. Which is fair and I didn't argue it. Afterall, it's a business. So just plan on losing 2 months worth realistically if you choose to cancel. Otherwise, no complaints about services. I'm just on a journey to find the right, personable fit. I feel like contracts that force you financially are not helpful in naturopath. It should be about support and promoting the most comfortable relationship between patient and doctor without any terms. Otherwise its the same as a traditional health insurance plan imo. I came to Voves off a recommendation however and know lots of people that are very happy with Meadows! I jumped right in especially after all of the perfect google reviews and waiting list. I must be the only one who didn't click with her I guess. No hard feelings and I only deducted 1 star because of the contract aspect that I simply just don't agree with in this particular field. The other two clinics I am looking into do not do contracts so I have learned from this experience to check for them before committing in the future."
