"The woman at this motel was so sweet. The roads were blocked, so we couldn't get back home, and we stayed there one night, hoping to get home the next night. She was so considerate about us waiting until the last possible moment and then it turned out we had to stay another night, so we extended one more day. We chose the Lighthouse Inn because they were the closest place to the Old Town that accepted dogs. It was an easy walk to Old Town and the river. It's not a fancy hotel, it's a proper roadside motel, so set your expectations accordingly. The warmth and kindness made it totally worth it, as well as the included breakfast, location, and toasty fireplace with boardgames and puzzles. It's nice to stay in a place that's owned by the people who run it, rather than something corporate. We'd come back!"
"This quaint little place was perfect for a trip to the coast before a snow storm. The staff was great, the rooms were clean and it's pretty much in the center of town. You can also walk to the historic part of town and still be close to the motel. we will definitely stay again."
"It's an old and quaint hotel, so set your expectations accordingly. It's cute but could be improved with some updating. The room could have been cleaner, and it was very loud at night with the highway traffic. Otherwise it was a fine place to stay for one night though."
"Very friendly and warm staff, great location, charming cozy rooms that remind me of my grandparents house. Our room seemed to be one of the biggest and cheapest. Maintenance wasn't perfect and there were a few cracked tiles in the bathroom but given the price and the size of the room it was great value for money. Tasty breakfast."
