"I went here a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised, given all of the negative reviews. I was able to make an appointment the same week and waited maybe 7-10 minutes before being called back. The technician was incredibly friendly and professional. I had to be pricked twice because of my vein collapsing which sucked but she was thankfully skilled at making sure that everything went well the second time. I think I was just dehydrated - not her fault. I get blood drawn frequently to manage medication and I felt that the technician's strategy to get the blood flowing quicker the second time was painful (both during and after for a few hours), but I've had a few technicians at other LabCorps do the same thing so I don't think this is something unique to this particular location. Rating 4 stars because of the pain afterwards but the older low reviews shouldn't scare you away! I would go back again (and be very hydrated this time)."

"I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, I showed up 45 minutes early for my appointment and they got me checked in within 10 minutes. Alicia made the blood draw almost painless and I was done and gone in no time at all. One of the best lab draws I've ever had."

"Drove an hour, waited in my car as instructed. 40 minutes later I called, no answer. Went to the door and there is a piece of paper saying that the facility is closed until further notice. How have the hours not been updated? Why is labcorp still allowing us to make appointments? From other reviews, it's been closed at least a month!"

"Drove 2 hours for a scheduled appointment. Sign posted on door says they're closed for the day and through the weekend. No notification. Edit: Tried again, about 5 weeks later. Called before heading out; couldn't confirm that they were open so I called another LabCorp clinic. That clinic shared that they just found out Salem's clinic is closed-closed. Also discovered today that the LabCorp website doesn't always accurately list what services they can provide. If your local/close clinic doesn't provide what you need per the website, it may be worthwhile calling to see if they can help you anyway."

"I do not recommend this place. I went in yesterday to have my blood drawn and Kayla the phlebotomist was mentally unstable and mentally abused me in front of the secretary of Oregon Integrated Health and the Vice President of OHP Modivcare who I called because The phlebotomist Kayla refused to sign my OHP gas reimbursement and proceeded to yell at me about her son having died a few months prior and that I had no right to ask her to sign my OHP paperwork that Labcorp was supposed to sign. Because Labcorp receives OHP payments and its part of my OHP services that are covered they are legally obligated to sign my Oregon Health Plan paperwork. As a result of the phlebotomist actions Oregon Inergrated Health next door who overheard me being mentally abused by the phlebotomist Kayla signed my OHP paperwork and told me that this phlebotomist had told other patients the same thing about this phlebotomist telling other patients about her son and they were not happy about how Kayla treated me. Then I was physically abused by the phlebotomist when she drew my blood because Kayla the phlebotomist shoved the whole needle in my arm causing my arm to swell and a lot of pain. I was up to 3.00 am last night after my blood draw in pain and now my arm is swollen at the blood draw site. The phlebotomist told me that I would end up like her dead son which is not only inappropriate to say to a patient but very concerning because I don't want other patients to be mentally and physically abused as I was. I think about the babies, children and elderly people who might be injured and mentally abused by this phlebotomist. I am very concerned about the Labcorps phlebotomist. I believe she is unfit to work with patients at any facility because she physically abused me. I have been having pain in my inner arm at the blood draw site and a mark since I left yesterday after she shoved a needle in my arm and took my blood. Kayla also told me after she took my blood that I was probably going to end up like her dead son. Her behavior is not only unprofessional it is abusive and scary to say the least. I suggest if you care about your loved ones that you go elsewhere for getting your labwork done. I might end up having to get an MRI on my arm where the phlebotomist injured me. No patient should be subjected to mental and physical abuse."
