"DO NOT GO HERE FOR HELP. AFTER TAKING IN OUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ( SS# and birth certificates ) THEY CAME TO THE SAFE HOUSE AND HANDED ME A EVICTION UNDER THE GROUNDS OF BEING RACIST (UNTRUE AND NO PROOF) I FOUND OUT BY PAST EVICTED INDIVIDUALS THAT FABI ( THE HEAD ADVOCATE) IS HISPANIC AND 100% RACIST if you're WHITE. I HAD LESS THAN AN HOUR TO LEAVE, AT THAT TIME ANOTHER YOUNG HISPANIC GIRL ( LIVING AT SAFE HOUSE ) STARTED LAUGHING AND POINTING AT ME WHILE I WAS MADE TO LEAVE. IT WAS UNBEARABLE TO GO THROUGH, I WAS A VICTIM OF A SERIOUS SITUATION. MY RACE I AM MIXED BUT LOOK WHITE. FABI IS THE RACIST NOT ME. PLEASE DO NOT REACH OUT TO THESE PEOPLE, THEY ONLY HELP TO TAKE YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND SOCIAL SECURITY# TO USE AGAINST YOU. IT IS A VERY VERY TOXIC PLACE."
"I brought a Thanksgiving meal there having once been a child survivor of DV. I walked out feeling good because the woman at the intake desk said that there is a gentleman who came in earlier who brought three turkeys and not much else and right now they have four families and shelter so they were worried about where that fourth turkey might come from. So she was very happy to see that I brought a turkey and all the trimming so family would need for Thanksgiving Day. I think it's really important to support shelters that cater to women and children. Those of you who are domestic violence survivors like I am you understand. It is a really sad thing that there are more animal shelters than there are shelters for women and children escaping abuse. Thank goodness for Henderson House."

"Org takes donations of clothing, toys, and books for their clients. There is a drop bin behind the house. Unfort it was full when we swung by so we placed almost everything over their fence. Happy the items will go to those that need them."
