"Rice's has an amazing level of compassionate care. They go above and beyond. My husband needed a medication urgently, which would prevent his condition becoming much more serious over the next couple days. A prescription had been called in to Rite Aid Friday afternoon. He was given a dose at the doctor's so we could wait until Saturday. I called Rite Aid Saturday morning at 9. They said it was unlikely they could fill it until next week. They were "busy". I explained the urgency. They said they had "other commitments" but I could try another pharmacy and get the prescription transferred. After a failed attempt at Walgreens, I called Rice's. Like day and night. I rushed over there to do the paperwork and they'd already got the process started. We then waited nearly 3 hours for Rite Aid to deign to transfer the prescription (which, again, is what they told me they would do). The amazing pharmacy hero at Rice's called them every 10 minutes and when they did actually send it over, was as excited and relieved as I was. A truly wonderful place and I will, in future, never go anywhere else. I even did the paperwork to get me in the system for the future."
