"I worked with Matt Hallman to have a large, custom coffee table made. He showed me 100-year old Doug Fir timbers salvaged from an old cooperage in Seattle. "We completed a project (two custom desks) with Hallman Woodworks in late 2020. Working with Matt and Trenton was a pleasure and the results are outstanding. They understood what we wanted to accomplish, and made it happen. In previous projects (not with Hallman), we were working with a company where you talked with a designer who then interpreted, modeled, and relayed this to the manufacturer. While the results were ultimately ok, the process added layers of time, potential misinterpretation, and cost. Everything custom was "I don't know; let me see if that's something they can do". Matt and Trenton were basically the opposite of that; the road to success was much shorter and more enjoyable! It was great being able to get on a call (or even Facetime) where they would address questions directly. Most importantly, the quality of the desks is amazing. We plan to work with Hallman again in future projects."
