"I was able to get an appoinment the same morning I called, and was on the chair at the exact time requested. After over a year of Covid do-it-yourself haircuts, I came away looking as good as possible and ready to withstand upcoming 100 degree weather. This was my first visit, but will not be my last, maybe in a month or so instead of a year. The shop was clean and roomy with an 82 inch TV! You don't get that at Great Clips."

"I’ve been getting haircuts from Javier for a few years now. He worked at, then owned, The Men’s Room on Commercial. He has since moved to this new address under the name South Salem Barbers with his cousin Abe. Of course, great haircuts with attention to detail. (I keep trying to go back to less expensive chains but there is such a dramatic difference in quality, and care for the details that I always come back). The new space is huge and airy. During COVID mandates, the front and back doors are open for a consistent flow of air through the store. The store has a huge flat screen TV. I’m not a sports fan and still enjoy conversation with Javier. You should also know that they deal only in cash. I Never carry cash, but I’m so committed, I go through the hassle of a trip to the ATM."
