"I Bought a gift certificate for a prenatal massage for my pregnant wife for valentines day. The only available prenatal massage they had with a female was days after valentines. My wife was planning to go. But on the morning of the appointment, she went into labor , and we had the baby that day. I received a message from simply blissed and called them to explain why we didn't make it to the appointment. I asked if we could reschedule. But they said they had to charge the total amount of the gift certificate. We were taken back by that response. Then they said that since the manager was there , and he or she heard our situation, they could take only 50% off the certificate card. But.. I'd rather spend the difference on daipers than pay it go back."

"I want to start by saying that this was an overall good experience. I purchased a day spa package. The massage therapist was great, although they used some new techniques that I have not experienced before. The facial was good, and I am looking forward to seeing results later this week and when using the samples provided. I was a little disappointed there was less focus on deep cleaning pores, but overall was satisfied. My reduction in stars comes from the pedicure. I need to note that Jade, my pedicurist, was awesome. However, the other two nail techs in the room were very chatty with their regular clients. They started a conversation about Native American tribes in Oregon and how they cause a lot of "red tape" which is annoying to them. As a tribal member, this made me feel unsafe. The technicians kept prompting the discussion, and the relaxation I had received during my massage and facial quickly melted away. As I mentioned, Jade noticed this and it was difficult for her to finish my service because my toes kept twitching. While I appreciated the service provided, I do not think I will return. The first two parts of the day spa were quiet and relaxing. The pedicure conversation in a group space ruined my experience."

"Simply Blissed is the perfect name for this spa because I truly feel bliss after services. Even the time spent briefly waiting in the lobby is relaxing as the environment is serene and they always bring me a warm neck wrap. I've had massages and facials and the staff is all friendly, professional, and the services are top notch. It's a beautiful, clean, and calming environment."

"I've been in for massages a few times and the experience went from good to bad. My first time in, I made an appointment for a couple's massage and had a great experience. I really appreciated that had a policy against tipping: massages are already expensive and a RARE luxury for me; it really detracts from the relaxing experience when I have to tip at the end because I never know how much is the "right amount" and already feels like an expensive obligation. I went back for another couple's massage some time later, but had a mixed experience. After making an appointment well in advance, they wanted to reschedule my appointment because they were short staffed. That was fine, but it was a significant delay in the appointment. The massage was good, but there were other issues-- even though I had scheduled well in advance, they forgot it was a couple's massage or something and didn't have a room available. They split my partner and I up. That was also not a huge problem, either, but then my partner's masseuse didn't remember how long the massage was supposed to be. They ended it 30 minutes early. My partner didn't know how long it had been and I had made the appointment, so she didn't realize the mistake. Once it was discovered, the masseuse took her back to finish the appointment, but most of the remaining time had been used getting dressed and undressed and figuring out the issue. The massage was not extended and there was no discount or anything like that. Then I discovered that they'd gotten rid of their tipping policy, so I felt expected to pay more than I had anticipated. I tried going back a third time-- this time just for myself. I made an appointment well in advance as a holiday treat-- which I really needed. Again, they waited quite awhile before telling me they "didn't have any staff available" during my appointment and needing to reschedule. Their next appointment was about 3 weeks after the initial appointment and at a really inconvenient time that didn't work for me, so I just had to cancel. By that point, it also wasn't really possible to find a different provider on such short notice. It's just frustrating because I think the massages are good and I want to like this place. But it's just too complicated and disorganized to get an appointment and, even when I do, things tend to get messed up. I wish they would return to the no-tipping policy and be more organized. Pretty disappointing."
