About the Business
West Side Tap House is Salem Oregon’s premier pub for craft beer, cider, and wine. Located at 1594 Edgewater Street Northwest, our bar offers a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for sampling a variety of beverages from breweries in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Our knowledgeable staff is passionate about beer and is ready to help you find your perfect brew from our rotating taps. With 5 taps of hard cider, 1 tap of hard seltzer, and 34 taps of craft beer including IPAs, pilsners, pales, dark beers, and sour ales, there is something for every beer lover. We also offer kombucha, craft root beer, sangria, and a selection of red and white wines.
Join us on Tuesdays for all-day happy hour and enjoy a pint while playing games like "Cards Against Humanity" with friends. We also host team trivia nights where your team of 1-6 people can compete for prizes. Looking to take the party home? We offer kegs to go with a week's notice.
The idea for West Side Tap House was born out of a love for German beer and a passion for local craft brews. Owners Donny and Karen have turned their hobby into a thriving business, offering a unique selection of beverages for the Salem community to enjoy. "What a great idea! You can get a flight or whole glasses. They also do growler fills and crowlers if you don't have a growler. The location is good and there is a section for outdoor dining. They don't offer food, but there are two pizza places nearby. It's a great place to get together and play games while enjoying some new craft beers. A+"

"This is our favorite date spot, we’re here about once a week. The staff are friendly and laid back, it’s a fun atmosphere especially for watching the game as well as their trivia night. Fantastic beer selection with solid IPAs rotating in and out. You can bring or have delivered food from a bunch of places too."
