"Clean. Friendly staff. Boss pizza. This is a great place to go for picky eaters, because you can customize your pizza and salad. MOD is a bit spendy, but you get really good quality of food. Don't miss their Marionberry Lemonade!"
"My family enjoys this restaurant since it came to Salem Oregon! Last Friday we've had a not so good meal! Ordered our usual. The salad/ pizza bar was a hugh mess, food all over and mixed in other bins. Not very appetizing, and I'm not that picky. The guy that stepped up to get us started was wearing a cowboy type hat with a long neck string hanging on the bar of food. I asked him if he could please put string behind his head. He quickly said I won't be serving you as I'm leaving. Another guy stepped in and proceeded to take our order for salad and pizza. Yes they are fast ! But what a lousy salad!!!! Pizza was just OK. We should have just walked out."

"2 1/2 Stars: After being one of the more highly rated pizza places (4.5) in Salem, I have to say I was expecting more. Our first time visit, I ordered the mad dog with extras (mushrooms and tomatoes) and a mini Cesar salad and root beer. The wife ordered a mini Canadian bacon w/ pineapple as well as a mini Cesar salad & water. We liked the salads but thought the pizza just average, not the 'wow' factor I was hoping for because of the rating. I think our go-to Papa Murphy's pizza had better flavor. We had no issues with the service and thought the gal creating the pizza helpful and accommodating. The decor we thought was sterile and uninviting. We both agreed we would not visit them again. I'm thinking the high review ratings must be from the other locations."
"I’m not too big on chain restaurants, but Mod Pizza is one of those rare exceptions that just gets it right and has expanded for good reason. The pizza is great, the dough is great, the ingredients are great. The people are very nice too. So if you want a decent pizza at a fair price, go to Mod if you see one and feel like having a bite."
