"This is always so delicious and the owner Eden and staff are so kind. It’s a hidden gem as they just moved to full restaurant instead of a truck this year. We came here with a friend who needs gluten free food and we were happy to learn that their injera bread is only traditional teff, so it’s naturally gluten free. We were all super happy with the food. Plentiful and a good value."
"I wish I could say I loved this place but I just don't. I've never been less excited by Ethiopian food and I'm worried my kids won't want to try it again elsewhere. Surprisingly bland, and the texture of the injera wasn't quite right, it absorbed too much too easily and went immediately too soggy to eat with properly."
"I tried Makedas at the Eugene Saturday market. They were a very popular and busy vendor. The food is well spiced and you can watch it being cooked in front of you. The family cooking is friendly too. Portions were generous and I left full after trying the beef tibs. It was great to try Ethiopian cuisine and look forward to trying their other dishes."
