"11/27/23 around 4:45 PM. Current Store Director is a Brandon Keys. Customer Service was already closed, my husband asked to turn in lottery tickets and was pointed to a green-haired employee who had the ability but then said she couldn't because she was going to lunch after her current customer. Overheard another checker close her line as someone already offloaded their groceries and she told him and everyone else in her line to go in another line because it was her break time. We've worked in retail and usually remain quiet about service quality but this was blatant lazy, piss poor service from a small town grocery store. Both employees could have taken 5 more minutes to help my husband and the offloaded customer in line."

"I can't imagine making this my regular grocery store unless I were to shop every day for dinner that night alone. I was in yesterday morning and bought a head of cauliflower, and I went to use it tonight (less than 36 hours from purchase, and I stored it in my vegetable drawer in the packaging) and it's absolutely rotting already. If this was a one off situation I would be understanding, but it seems that I buy meat, I buy vegetables, and they last about two days maximum before going bad enough that they need to be thrown out. Chicken dated a week out will go bad within a few days. Onions I buy will have a sprout beginning in the middle, almost ready to plant for next year. It's been one disappointing experience after the other with anything at this store that doesn't come from an external supplier, and if it does, it's priced comparable to stores that sell you the whole or stores that change seasons. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined when I am forced to shop here."

"This store is a super busy store as it is one of two grocery stores in Dallas. Over the past year I feel like I often leave disappointed because the items advertised are always out of stock. Shelves are literally empty, different items are covering out of stock item tags and, employees are quick to pass the blame. At first I figured it was probably due to supply issues, but after visiting other stores in surrounding areas it seems it is just Dallas that has this problem. Will this stop me from shopping here...most likely no. Will this make me drive 20 minutes to another Safeway for large shopping trips...yes."
