Ugo's Pizza Parlor

"I was in the jury selection process at the courthouse around the corner. I didn't know anything about this place when I found it. Growing up in West Salem, the pizza place to be was always Walery's, but sometime in the 2010's era, the quality dropped. I feel like this place is where it went. The pizza brought me back 15 years to something so delicious. I will be going here again and have already recommended the place to others. Update: I went back a few days ago. I ordered the lunch special. Which is a personal size pizza and a soda. I sat and waited for more than an hour. When I approached the counted to ask for a refund so I could just go somewhere else, they said it was almost done and would be about 3 minutes. It was another 10 minutes before they managed to bring it out. For the first 30 minutes it was just myself and 2 others that were together. In that time, a group of 4 came in and left with their pizza that they had ordered and a group of 3 dined in. Most disappointed in service I have ever been."

"Dallas has no eateries that stay open for people and families getting off work late. We came across Ugo’s although at first I thought the price was a bit higher, the service, attitudes and over all experience was TOP KNOTCH. I’m glad they were the only place open and gained our business and earned our money. I am so happy that we invested in their business and the cost has no comparison to the services, friendliness, and overall experience. We loved it and recommend all to stop by and give them your support and business. Next time we are in from Vegas we will be here again"

"I eat lunch here regularly but I am now wondering if it is a reliable option. I got a lunch pizza and half order of spuds today and regret it. The pizza was borderline burnt and the spuds were swimming in a tablespoon of brown grease. I wish I could say this was the first time they have burnt my pizza but it is the first time I have had spuds look like this. The only reason I am giving two stars is because 90% of the time I really like their pizza. This was one of the days I did not enjoy my lunch. Update: The owner contacted me immediately to thank me for my feedback and compensate me with a future lunch. Because of this excellent customer service, I have increased my review to three stars and will increase it again in the near future after I can confirm the issues have been fixed. Update 10/20/20: Due to COVID I was unable to visit Ugos again until last week. The pizza was great and the spuds were fantastic. Nothing like the pictures. Updated to 4 stars"

"One of my new favorite pizza places. The crust is crispy and not too thick. Depending on your preferance, I would recommend asking for additionsl sauce, as the finished pizza has barely enough to taste. Employees are friendly. They evan have a few old school arcade games, free to use while you wait for the pizza."
