"I stopped in here at random because I had about 30 minutes to kill in between appointments in the area and my normal evening haunt recently closed. I wish I had a couple of hours, because this place is truly a gem. It was cozy and quiet, they had peaceful music playing, and the tea is great. I'm really looking forward to going again when I have more time."

"Originally I was looking for a tea house where I could order a nice drink to-go while running some errands on a someday, but I ended up here and the place was so nice that I ended up staying for over an hour, procrastinating my chores. But I have no regrets about it, sitting alone at Fly Awake Tea House with a calming cup of chocolatey tea and some samosas was a great way to start my day and slow down, which is something a lot of us forget to do. The atmosphere of this place is absolutely lovely and inclusive, and the employees here seem to know a lot about the menu while providing great service. It's somewhere I'd love to stop by again due to having such a nice experience. I would definitely recommend this place."

"What a magical little gem! Discovered this place after searching for a middle ground spot to meet a friend that lives in Vancouver and I in south portland. Atmosphere was *amazing* with the garage door open on a beautiful sunny 70° day. The staff was knowledgeable and kept pouring us tea for the entire 2 hours we sat there.
