"I like their products just fine. Getting something that is out of stock is borderline impossible. The local store can't order it. Even if you pay in advance, they can't order it. If its within 100 miles they can do a store transfer or something to get it. But 109 miles is out of the question. However I am welcome to drive 100 plus miles to buy it from another store? I cannot order what I want from the web site and pay their outrageous shipping fees because these items are only available in the stores. Come on guys get your act together!"
"I rarely not find what I need. My last purchase has left me confused so I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into this. Icon tools had 20 off coupon. So I purchased a bolt extractor set it's 49.99 as a member my price was 39.99 at checkout I could not get the 20 of on the Icon tool because as a member I get a 10 percent discount so it wouldn't let them stack the coupon. So I was punished for being a member. I lost out on 10 percent. 10 percent as a member. 20 percent coupon. I feel like I should have received a 30 percent or at least the 20 percent. I'm wondering if anyone has ran into this as well. Or did I just get screwed"
"We were trying to figure out if we should stop at Harbor freight in the morning ,or if we could wait until the afternoon/evening, which would have been more convenient for our day. So we called the store to check on an item that was on clearance online. Chris answered and I asked if they had any of the clearance item, he said yes. Then I asked how many they had, so i knew if we needed to go there first thing, or if they had plenty, and we would go in the afternoon. He said "I can't give out inventory information, because people call to check inventory before they steal something". Wow! That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Yes, Roseburg has a very high crime rate, a homeless epidemic etc. However, the item I was inquiring about is roughly half the size of a small pickup truck bed. Meaning there is NO WAY anyone is tucking one under their coat and walking out. Someone needs to educate Chris on customer service, logic, and common sense."
