"Their butchers here are so talented skilled and clean their meat is amazing their cuts are amazing The amazing the whole store is so clean and tidy and the people are nice and the food is amazing whether it's from the butcher or what they have cooked already. And I personally like that you can get their shredded cheese on bulk so if you don't need a lot you can just buy a little"

"The chile relleno was way overcooked; mush in a dark brown breading. Flavor was just okay, nothing special. I had really hoped for better with their extravagant prices. I can see why they’re not busy."

"Grocery store is great with a nice selection of Central American cheese, plantains, platanitos, etc. Disappointed, however, to find that their otherwise great carniceria doesn't sell carne para asar (hard to believe!). Their cook-at-home tamales de elote were excellent, but the pork and chicken tamales had small cubes of meat inside that looked (and tasted) suspiciously like lunch meat. For cook-at-home pork and chicken tamales, I would strongly recommend Pirekua just up Main Street instead. The same price but much tastier and made with real pork and chicken, not processed lunch meat."

"This place was absolutely amazing. It is authentic and so tasty. It reminds me of new Mexican, Mexican food or what my Spanish grandma used to make. The red chili is not super spicy, so it is good for people with more sensitive palettes. They give you salsas of all varieties to spice things up for the people that like that spice. The people were friendly and had English speaking employees as well as Spanish. I was really happy about this because I have neglected to learn the language even though half my family is Spanish. The carne asada and carnitas were spiced to perfection. They have menudo that brought happy tears to my eyes. I haven't tasted menudo that good for more than five years. I can't wait to go back to try the birria. I did order it this time but they did not hear me. I was not even disappointed because it was just THAT good. Don't let the atmosphere trick you. It is a little plain and deserted in the restaurant area. my mom wanted to leave by the look of it, but I know good authentic food comes from places like that. I hope this place continues to make food this delicious and does well."

"An absolute first class Mexican grocery store. Produce and meats were phenomenal. The restaurant is cute and basic. The food is good, beans and rice were a little dry but the meats were fantastic and some of the best corn tortillas I have ever had. A great selection of everything in the store. Definitely worth a visit."
