La Hacienda Real | West Salem

"Wow! Loved this location. Inside is possibly the best themed restaurant I have ever seen. Service was friendly and on top of things. Food amazing. The second La Hacienda Real location I've been to. Now my favorite. Excited to share this gem with family and friends who visit. The bar is now set that iI will use to judge future Mexican food in the Salem area!"

"The Chipotle chicken was amazing! My regular order. The salsa wasn't very spicy which is the only reason for my 4/5 stars on the food. My chips also weren't super fresh but everything else was really good. This one is way less busy than South Salem. Highly recommend it."

"Sorry to put up a review without any feedback, and I know how unhelpful that can be. First off, I was invited there for lunch, and I was on the phone with the people I was meeting with there. So, as I walked in, I was greeted by a host, and she was a little short with me. Which I paid no mind to because I worked customer service and know its super stressful. I said I was invited to lunch and my party was right there is it all right if I walk over to them... I asked due to the feeling of not really feeling welcome when I came in the door. After asking the host decided to do something else at the counter so I asked again.... Still no response so I said on I see my party I am going to just walk back to them, and that is when I got a response, and it was not a very nice response. At that point I decided I will not be spoken to in that fashion, so I walked back to my party and said Hey I am not going to eat here why don't we pack up and head somewhere else and at that time the host was couniting to be rude to me and we just left and went somewhere else. I hate putting stuff like this up but as a business owner myself I hate to read these one but also, I am glad someone said something, so I know where I need to improve and what areas I need to correct so that people have a better experience. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope the next time if I do head back that way, I can't experience your food. The 3 star was from one of the members of my party, and I thought the atmosphere was really chill. The service on the other hand I get there is a % of forgiveness for people that work with the masses but there is a % that is not acceptable."

"This is NOT even close to the one in Keizer! I was super shocked to find out it was a sister restaurant. Service was almost annoyed we were there when we came in. She seated us and disappeared. The lady taking our drink order actually huffed when we said water and a cola. When she came back she sat the drink down and turned to the table across from us....and took their order!!! They came in after us and she didn't even ask if we were ready. I hate to say this stop was bad because I love the OTHER lactation but, this was bad. Good was out in less than 10 minutes so no surprise it was glorified microwave leftovers. Flavorless muck on a plate. Salsa was the brightest thing and when I asked for a salsa that was hot, she brought me a brown salsa with chili flakes...not hot at all. The atmosphere was super cute with a bright playfully Mexican vibe....love the tile work. Clean and no sticky when you sit. Food and service is why they only get three stars"
