"Customer service was spot on the guy behind the counter was so nice. The location off commercial was super cute inside clean etc.. but the food was really disappointing, had the Korean beef there was no flavor at all it was like a boring pot roast . Mac salad also no flavor and it was really expensive for two flavorless meals 47.00 yikes …."
"I only had the kalua pig and cabbage plate so far and it was REAL good. They do it right with the cabbage! That’s always how I had it growing up in Hawaii. The rice is perfect and the mac salad was good too. I’ll work my way through menu. Nice service and got Hawaiian Sun drinks and spam musubi too!"
"I’ll be honest, the food tasted good, and I don’t think it’s always fair to review a place after getting sick, because it happens to everyone no matter where you eat, but I looked out of curiosity and saw a couple of other reviewers describing the same sickness I got. I think it’s only fair to warn others because I was sick with a severe stomach bug (hospitalized), as well as others who have eaten here, I sincerely hope it’s not a trend and just a coincidence. Again.. Being fair, despite other reviewers opinions, I felt like the food was good and the portions were generous."
"The food here at Shaka Brah was so ‘ono (delicious)! I was missing food from home and they really hit the spot. My husband suggested we should try them and I’m so glad we did. We got the shoyu chicken + short rib plate. For our sides we got sweet corn and mac salad. We also tried the shoyu poke. They got all the flavors down and amazing portions. It tasted just like Hawaii. Our meal was around $30 which is not bad for feeding two mouths. We were both full and satisfied after. If you are in the Salem area, definitely check them out and support them! We’ll definitely be back again on those days I’m craving Hawaiian food (:"
