"South Hills Cafe was a wonderful breakfast experience. I'll definitely be going back! In fact I did go back and still love SHC. If you're into a more basic, "traditional" breakfast, the 1 pancake, 2 eggs and sausage or bacon is a good choice. The pancake is huge!"
"Had to wait when we first arrived. There was a sign that read, please wait to be seated. A server said we could sit anywhere except the larger tables. The menu was very extensive with a lot of items to chose from. I had the eggs Benedict, my Wife had the meat lovers scramble. Both meals were good portions. There were condiments on the table. They didn't appeared to be used very often. I asked for a side of hot salsa (spicy). The server brought some out. It was OK."
"I came here with high hopes based on the reviews. In the end I left very confused as to how this place is so highly-rated. The atmosphere is nothing special (noisy strip mall diner vibe), the service was slow with no check-in after meals, and the food was seemingly fresh, but exceptional only in its blandness. There were 5 of us and every single one of us had to add salt/pepper or hot sauce just to give the dishes some flavor. The best thing we had was a mocha, and even, that was just okay."
"Awesome brunch! The BEST scrambled eggs I've ever had at a restaurant and the latte was perfect. Friendly staff and low key atmosphere. If I lived closer, this would be my go-to Saturday breakfast spot."
"Warmly welcomed, clean and airy space with a family feel. Had a lovely brunch with my daughter. The staff were excellent and attentive. Our food came quickly and was hot and delicious. I had the Veggie Benedict and my daughter had the 2 cakes chocolate chip with extra bacon with chocolate milk. We will definitely be back thank you so much."
