"We ordered Sunset pizza for takeout this evening.. My wife and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and wings for dinner. We ordered the full order of wings and went with buffalo sauce since they said they make the sauce in house. The wings arrived swimming in the sauce which was an immediate turnoff but nevertheless we persisted. There were approximately 9 wings in the order when they say you get 8 which was nice. The wings were cooked well but rather soggy since they were swimming. The wings were pretty meaty so that’s a bonus. The sauce was mediocre at best and lacking butter - I’d give these wings a solid 3/5. The large pizza was perfectly cooked. The crust was a bit doughy for my taste but still good. The sauce was mild and flavorful but lacking. Not much pepperoni. I wish I could rate on a 10 scale, I’d give it a 7. It’s better than 3/5 but doesn’t deserve 4/5 either. Price was a decent value given the location and cost of things these days 5/5 This place was an unassuming hole in the wall (my favorite kinda spot). I’d definitely come back but I wouldn’t come rushing if that makes sense. If you’re looking for a decent pizza at the end of the day, this place fills the gap. Overall, I’d give a 7.5/10 but on a 5 scale it gets a 3/5."

"Sunset Family Pizza is a nice old school pizza parlor in Gold Beach. We ended up coming here for a pizza and some wings after a long hike nearby. The pizza comes out quick and the wings are very flavorful! Rather than traditional table service, you grab a menu when you walk in the door and order at the counter, and they’ll bring the food and drinks to your table. When we were here there was a birthday party going on and several other tables full of people enjoying their meal!"

"Visiting from out of town. Saw the good reviews and decided to give it a shot. The pizza was exactly how you want your pizza to taste. Got some mozzarella sticks too and they were also good. Not big on sauce and it was a good sauce to other ingredient ratio. I’d be back if I wasn’t leaving in the morning."
