"01/05/18: 4.0 out 5 - Since my move to the Portland area, I'm always looking for good Hawaiian grind. Roxy's Island Grill was a place a friend of mine frequents. The place is simple, clean, and with ample seating. The lines can be long, but often it seemed like most of the patrons took their food to go. The counter service was pretty quick with the ordering process. Simple pictures posted to get an idea of what you are ordering along with average prep times. Average prep time? Well, the food is made to order which is one of the factors that's makes this place appealing. I had ordered the Sweet Garlic Chicken. In my opinion, the food and service was good. I initially wanted to rate this Roxy's location a 3.5, but I bumped it up to 4 because one of the staff was going around checking on the seated patrons and asking if they would like to sample the Chicken Katsu. To me, that's someone who demonstrates that they care and would like you to come back. Pretty OHANA if you ask me. If you find yourself near this Roxy's, try the place once and decide for yourself.
