"This charming little restaurant serves up quality and fresh foods with some of the best service available in Florence. Upon walking in we were greeted with a warm smile and offered a table. The decor was comfortable. The place felt clean and well organized. We chose to have lunch and we made it just in time. It was 11:29 and lunch starts at 11:30. We had a couple of the veggie burgers, onion rings and clam chowder. The chowder was delicious with a strong clam flavor, potatoes and cream. They take cash or checks for payment. But don't worry if you have only have a credit card. There is an Atm in the restuarant. The little brown hen is on our list to visit for breakfast or lunch on any future visit to Florence."

"Stopped by for brunch date with my boyfriend on our way through town, and ordered the eggs benedict. I immediately noticed it was family owned, the owner was greeting costumers and his son was working as a server. Both were friendly, and made an effirt to make you feel welcomed. No wait to be seated, which was nice as I was expecting to have to wait, and service was friendly and prompt. Food was better than expected, I could tell the hollandaise was made from scratch, and although we had to wait about 20 minutes for the food to come out, it was well worth the wait! Will definitely come back! Don't forget to bring cash as it is a cash only restaurant, fortunately they do have an ATM inside just in case you have card. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!"

"This is a really special place. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. The service is excellent, the food was delicious. I loved the homemade corned beef. Excellent flavors! They have homemade jam which was to die for. They also have beignets and donut holes. The specialty coffees are lovely. I really enjoyed my flat white. My husband had the chicken and waffles and loved them. I came for the homemade French toast and never even got to try it. Will definitely have to be back next time I’m around this way. This would be my neighborhood restaurant if I lived here."

"It was pretty good, but pricy for what was offered. Google said cards are accepted; they are not, so bring a wad of cash. Fried chicken was excellent and the candied bacon in the Bloody Maria was delicious, but for value for money it wasn't great. Also felt a little rushed out despite the fact that there were plenty of open tables."
