"After a surprise breakdown on the way to the airport for our honeymoon, Ruben's took our car in immediately, diagnosised it within days, and then held it on their lot for the rest of our trip without charge. Though the charges for the repair ended more than was worth putting into our older vehicle, Ruben's was kind enough to still only charge us for the diagnostic which was a very reasonable amount. They then held the vehicle for a few more days until a scrap company came and picked it up, AND THEN were even willing to send us the check the scrappers left behind in our name. "Wow, talk about this company not trusting people that want to give them their money. I call those people "potential customers". Like me! Looks like they don't get my money, or my friends who I tell, or their friends they tell. I had a specific automotive task I needed help with. very specific, as you can see I am detailed orientated. I called Reubens to get a quote for that specific job, spending my time explaining in detail exactly and precisely what I needed done. The response I received was um.....welll......this was the response! "I have no idea what that might cost, my boss says "Just bring it in so we can diagnose it and see what needs done!" Talk about insulting ones intelligence! I just told him in lengthy detail what needed done. I guess he didn't trust the customer who was that specific to know what needed done. How about no one should go do business with Reubens? How about not trusting Reubens with your data simply because Reubens cannot provide an accurate set of data to you, such as a simple quote. Well, looks like this business did NOT get the "hook" in me to come give them my money to get a "diagnosis", or my friends money. Another great example of a crummy business in Canby, OR. Shameful."
