"This is the last review I will ever do. For this week. My better half and I dined in for dinner. They were quickly able to accommodate us. We had the meatball and breadstick apps. The meatballs were well seasoned and the bread was fresh and crunchy how I like it. Would recommend. I had the meat cappatella and my gf had the clams linguini. My calzone was delicious. But it’s a lot of food. Come hungry. My gf really liked her dish."
"I've eaten pizza at many places in Salem, and Christo's is my favorite, crisp crust, plenty of garlic, and mouth-watering aroma. Add great jazz at dinner for a wonderful evening. Zsofia Tardy's Hunglish Project played. Jazz arrangements of Bartok folk music and Autumn Leaves were unexpected pleasures."
"The food was amazing! We were seated quickly, but we were sat in a strange part of the restaurant, tables were small and close together. It seems best to make a reservation. Maybe then we would have had a nicer table. The meals were also expensive, but we were definitely looking for something extra special as we were trying to have an extra romantic evening together. The service was good. Overall, it was a nice evening, and we plan to go back with reservations."
"We love this place for the Jazz Lounge on Thursdays and sometimes Saturdays! The food is great too. They are usually sold out, so the service suffers a bit, but the shows normally go from 7-9pm so there's plenty of time...no rush. We are on our way to becoming regulars here. ;-)"
"The staff was snobby and wouldn't even sit me. They put me at the bar with a to-go box. The pie was okay, but not what I wanted. Simple pepperoni is easy enough to understand but they got me something else off the menu. I will post photos of what I like, versus what I got. Not returning there for service. The pies with more than smashed tomatoes are the ones I like. Sorry Christos, but money can't buy a preferred pie. Service and courtesy is a plus."
