"A couple days ago he sent me a certified letter saying he would no longer treat my son. I called to ask why and the receptionist told me it’s because of missed appointments and neglecting to get labs? We’ve only ever been to one appointment in the office. Since that initial appointment, they’ve been over the phone with his receptionist and didn’t last more than 60 seconds. They will make these morning phone appointments but then won’t call until 5 or 6pm. We’ve went and got labs the whole TWO times he’s asked and one time I didn’t get to the phone in time but called them back. It also takes them days to call in refills and half time they’re wrong."

"Dr obviously does not care about his patients time. Dr was over an hour late for appointment. Not that he was behind, he wasn’t even there. Now once he arrived he was a very good and attention dr and listened to what we had to say"

"If there was an option for ZERO I would give ZERO stars. ABBI - the person that does "everything" in the office, including answering the phone, and being the first point of contact. This person was so unkind and unhelpful. Not to mention she had no knowledge of the different types of Medicaid that are offered. My son is disabled, he has STARKIDS, that is completely different from regular TX medicaid, and she just kept saying "we take everything except United and Molina". When I asked what her name was she said, "abbi" and spelled it out. "A- B- B- I". Totally, uncalled for. I will never understand why people are so unhelpful, and their bosses just let them bully people over the phone. I'll be praying for you Abbi, and for my son to find a psychiatrist with an office staff that actually WANTS to help us. We left Child Guidance Center because of how rude the office staff is, and how incompetent they are. Seems like the trend these days :("

"The reviews truly speak for themselves. The blonde office lady said she called me a day before my appointment to remind me to bring my sons insurance card and she did not. When I showed up for my appointment I didn’t have it because I just moved to Texas so Medicaid hasn’t sent me one yet and the office lady said it was a requirement to have that in order to be for my child to be seen. My son has needed help for years and I’m constantly on waiting lists for up to 9-11 months back in Louisiana. I was happy whenever I only had to wait 1-2 weeks for Dr Isern. This is ridiculous! There’s a national database to look up all Medicaid recipients and I have my verification letter with the EDG number. So I’m not sure why they are being so harsh on this policy but I’ve never seen an office do this in my entire life. For me personally it shows lack of sincerity towards patients."

"I think this Dr is very careful. Although I don't feel as though my medications are working for me I understand there's a process. You can't just change or up your dosage without being monitored for a period of time. Covid has made the appointments less comforting but I also understand the safety precautions he is taking to protect himself and his patients. It does not help to become overwhelmed with a Dr who simply has your best interest at heart."
