"I ordered 4 plants from them and 2 arrived looking dead. The instructions that came with the plants told me to soak them and pot them or their guarantee would be void, so I did that. The 2 dead looking ones never revived and were for sure dead so I wrote to ask for a replacement or refund. They didn't write back until I wrote again and then they said they have a 7 day return policy and will give me nothing! Then why mention a guarantee in the papers they sent?! Dishonest and horrible to work with. They also never mentioned when I bought the plants that they were arriving bare root. STAY AWAY!"

"Buyer beware. I ordered 2 spider azaleas (3 gal) total $150 and this is what I got. The plants are almost dead and super leggy, obvious they did not take care of them. I tried to contact them and I received a snarky response back. Pick any other nursery, but steer clear of this one. The reviews don’t lie."

"I ordered bougainvillea last year in March, 2022. I never received the plant as off today 02/03/23. I called John at Talbott Nursery. He said he refunded my money through Paypal. I also emailed multiple times but no answer. Then I called PayPal. They said they didn't have any refund request from seller. Then again called John but he said he cannot do anything. He refused to give the refund transaction reference. Don't buy anything from this seller. Terrible experience !"

"Wrapped tree tightly in newspaper and shipping tape, very difficult to get out of box. The box was torn and retaped by the post office in 2 places. Tree was covered in black mold/fungus, and tons of leaves missing. Emailed them to let them know, and did not ask for a replacement or anything else, and the old man was really rude and did not offer an apology or anything. I had zero intentions of putting a review on Google, but he made me change my mind. I have dealt with a lot of nurseries, and ordered several plants and trees, and this is the worst. Too many other great places than waste your time with these people. Never again!"

"I have nothing but great experience with Talbott Nursery and Poultry. I purchased two bougainvillea last spring and I am very happy with them. John, the owner contacted me immediately to let me know that there will be delays on shipping (due to Covid19). I understand the situation and waited patiently. I think my plants was shipped one week later. I received my package within two days of receiving my tracking code. They arrived well and neatly packed. I followed the instructions thoroughly and I can tell that my plants were thriving in three days. It's been months and my bouggainvilleas are out and about. Our new puppy unpluged one of my bougs but surprisingly, it is still thriving and in recovery mode. I will purchase again from them. There customer service is impeccable. The plants I got are perfect. Thank you John for my lovely bougs!"
