"Made it to the window at 3:02pm on Saturday after explaining to them that I was stuck behind an elderly lady driving 30 miles per hour on wax road, the two white young ladies ignored me and laughed and the other young black lady was smirking and ignored me. I will not use this pharmacy ever again. If I could give a zero, I would."

"IF YOU ARE NEW TO TOWN OR VISITING DON'T GO HERE!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! Try Bellingrath Pharmacy or Two Rivers you'll save youself the headache and wasted energy. I really don't understand how this place stays open other than the fact they are locally owned (maybe?) and not a big box chain pharmacy. The people in here aren't customer service friendly, they are slow (like hours slow), they are so very inconsistent on filling, timing, & availability of meds. Higher cash bills to pay, oh no can't do that, they don't have change, ever it seems. Call and make sure they have your script and are filling it 3 hrs before you go to pick up; and they still don't a have it ready when you arrive, this is the place for you if you like to sit and wait on them. Call in a script to the automated system on a weekend - don't do that here, because they still won't check and order the meds on the Monday to have them for Tuesday when you need them, you're just expecting too much of this business doing that. Whew, and I haven't even gotten into the drive thru. Can we say cluster mess. I'm not talking once or twice with this scenario, this one has happened more than 5 times.. You're script isn't ready even though you called to make sure ahead of time, too bad, here's a buzzer drive around get back in the 7-10 car deep drive thru and wait again for over 30 minutes while we continue to try and get it together. Seriously, and then they get annoyed and flabbergasted when you say no, you aren't doing that. Ha, it's now somehow my fault and I'm being sent to the back of the line to wait even longer, I don't think so. Have to call days in advance because they don't stock your meds and they have to order every time - just go somewhere else, probably anywhere else would be better than here if that's the case. This place lost the small town family feel several years ago. Thank goodness there are other options in our city when I'm in a hurry, need it same day or want excellent customer service so I can go to them instead of here."

"Updated 6/23/21- the owner/manager called and was super nice and helpful. He explained how unfortunately our insurance does not cover their pharmacy. I appreciated the friendly call. I wanted to love this pharmacy and support local business, but the service was not great. As new customers, i called to make sure our prescriptions were there and the lady was friendly and said just come in with insurance info to pick up. I sent my husband and they told him they did not have any medications for us. He left and then went back after I told him I had talked with someone the day before. When he got back he told them we were new customers and then voila, all of our info was there. The assistant made a snarky comment about how he could have told her we were new patients as if he did something wrong. Then we were charged $90 for insulin (Humalog) where it has always been at no cost to us at Walgreens. Monthly diabetic supplies (pump, dexcom, etc.) are expensive, so to add an additional $90 a month is just not doable. My husband purchased it not knowing we normally don’t pay for it. I typically do the picking up. I called to find out the difference in their pharmacy and Walgreens just to determine why they charged us. The girl on the phone transferred me to someone who would be able to explain. The girl I was transferred to could have cared less about helping and just told me she didn’t know and to call my insurance company. No thanks, it is easier to just transfer them back to Walgreens then try to get an insurance representative on the phone. Just a bad first experience at what I assumed would be a more friendly experience at a smaller, locally run pharmacy."

"I had a bad experience with customer service. I had some questions about my prescriptions and she made me feel Like I was bothering her. She wasn’t friendly at all. She was very aggravated to explain anything to me. She was very short and before she hung up I heard her say “these people”. I may be older but you shouldn’t allow people that work for you to have a negative attitude and be rude to customers. It takes one bad apple to ruin a business. I really thought this pharmacy would be better than CVS or Walgreens, but I was very wrong. I will say they are faster, but good service and friendly staff are what I look for, and they don’t have it at this time. They lost our business because of it."
