"(Formerly Christus SETX Surgical Associates) I saw Dr. Kresta, as recommended by my OBGYN, for a follow up on breast pain in a specific spot that keeps getting worse over the past year, and a very small unsuspicious cyst that showed on a mammo. Dr. Kresta told me I was a little young for yearly mammos (despite my pain and them finding a cyst). I wasn't expecting a miracle, but there was a lack of compassion and I was given no guidance other than to take more ibuprofen which I've already been doing for months. I was also repeatedly told to try primrose oil. I need to find the source of the pain not continue to mask and ignore it. I was told there is no magical fix for pain. I did not go for a magical fix, I went to find the source of my pain. I absolutely cannot keep ignoring this pain I have daily like nothing is wrong. No one should be expected to do that or to be brushed off. I won't stop until I find the right specialist who can help me and is concerned and takes me seriously. The dr looked at me crazy when I asked if there was a CT scan or some other test we could do. I know there are things such as breast MRI's even. I left in tears to say the least and hopeless. I will try to find another specialist who can help me."
