Holiday Inn & Suites Beaumont-Plaza (I-10 & Walden), an IHG Hotel

"The hotel is a good place to stay. I’m in town for some training classes and this is the hotel that we picked. The rooms are a great size. The restaurant is good. Service is excellent and this includes the front desk. My one concern is with the television. I wished that they were smart televisions or had a tv guide either in the room or on the tv. I would recommend this hotel for a good place to stay in Beaumont."

"Good experience. The rooms could have thicker doors but that is the only issue I could possibly list with the hotel itself. The other guests who stay there seem to stay up late (possibly because of the bar) and guests can be loud. Very pretty lobby with a waterfall and a bar. Good location with a solid seafood restaurant across the street. I plan to stay there again when I return to Beaumont."

"I usually stay at this hotel because the beds are very comfortable and the sheets are clean. However, most of the time there's at least one thing in the room that needs to be fixed. Last night was no exception. When I walked into the room, it was very cold. I checked the thermostat and it had already been set to Heat / Auto but it was blasting out ice cold air. Also the staff at this hotel couldn't care less about their customers. There's clearly no culture of customer service that has been established by management. When I checked in last night, a trainee saw that I had stopped at Taco Bell and tried to make a joke that he hoped they had stocked my room with enough toilet paper. Wow. Completely inappropriate. When I checked out this morning, I walked up to the front desk where there were no other customers and two employees behind the counter who clearly didn't want to look up from what they were doing and assist me. I stood there for a while and finally had to ask. "Can I check out?" and one of them looked up and said ok. It took her quite a while to figure out how to print my folio. She kept asking for my room number even though I had told her already. After she handed the folio to me, I asked her "were you planning on asking if everything was OK with the room". She said "Oh yeah, how was it?" I said the heater doesn't work and the phone doesn't work. She said she was sorry about that. Stay here at your own risk, if you don't mind TERRIBLE customer service and knowing that something in your room is probably going to be broken. As mentioned before, the beds are comfortable and seem to be clean, otherwise this place is a dump."

"My family and I loved everything about this Holiday Inn & Suites. The lady at the front desk Jasmine was the best. She made sure we were able to get a room, extra towels, and she was helpful in letting us know the good food places in Beaumont. The ladies serving breakfast was amazing. Not only did they cook an amazing breakfast, but they were very nice and courteous. We won't hesitate to stay here again!"
