"My fiancé and I were in the area for her uncles funeral this weekend and needed somewhere quiet to lay our heads out between the wake and funeral. We were given an early check in to give us time to change clothes before heading the the funeral parlor and we were met outside by the nicest guy who knew exactly who she was, almost like they were talking waiting on an important guest. They knew why we were here and upgraded us to one of the cabins for some peace and quiet last night. We will definitely be back on visits out this way for the other uncles, or just because. We needed to be treated with some sincere kindness more than we needed the clean, wood pine smelling gorgeous cabin with fireplace, although those things will also bring us back again for a nice romantic evening. Even though we were to tired to cook, he had brought us some fresh mesquite to cook dinner with even. We just really appreciated it. So thank you for reminding us some places still take those extra moves to make someone comfortable and for a great nights sleep on the very comfortable mattress! ❤️"
"Lovely place. My room had two queens (loved the mattresses) . Shower had great water pressure. Main lodge has great places to read—and we had fun playing shuffleboard. Walked the grounds early morning. Will come back."
