"I don't expect extreme professionalism from teenagers working cashier jobs, but if you're a grown adult, especially in the butcher section, one of Market Basket's stronger areas, then you should hold yourself to a little higher standard. I asked about a specific cut of meat today, and was talked to like a fool for no reason. I'm not the biggest customer ever, but I'm in every 3 days, especially for steaks. Everyone knows the prices are the highest in town already, but at least try to counter that with helpful staff and service. This is the same reason I stopped using their Courtesy Booth a few years back."

"The past couple of times I bought mushrooms from the Nederland Market Basket they smelled like rotten fish and had mold on them. Please restock your mushrooms if they start to smell funny. Had to throw all of them away :("

"The basic $9 king cake here tasted better than Raos $30 king cake. It was much more flavorful and moist. (The flavored king cakes cost around $15 I think)"
