"No cashiers in the front walked around the entire store and had to yell for help then someone came from the back room. White women with a birthmark on her forehead said her name was teal but most what she said was gibberish. I was so uncomfortable b.c this women seemed drunk she was swaying and slurring words. Not coming back here going to the gas station across the st if ever need something quick plus she was making up stories about how she needs to keep track of every customer so she stays at the back LOL. Ik they get reviews removed cause there’s no way this store is 4 stars it’s garbage so are the workers"

"May 2023- Just a comment I wanted to add since I recently revisted this store and man this place is busy and the customers are in and out fast! They are very attentive workers here! But I refer to this Dollar Store as "The Rodeo Drive" of Dollar Stores. They have stuff that no other dollar store has!!! Not to mention it just looks so different. They take pride in their store and it shows! The only thing I did notice was their coolers in one section were broke and there was still a mess on the floors with towels all wet. I'm sure there was no time for the workers to deal with it since the customers slam them as soon as the doors open. But they really should have some emergency helpers that come in for situations like that and can do a quick clean up for the safety of the customers and it's a lot cheaper than risking someone getting hurt. But I'm sure they got it all fixed up by now, it's been a few weeks since I last visited. But this store is so well kept that y'all better give them a vacation and put them up at the Regent Beverly Wilshire. 2yrs ago- Very nice store. They have way more selections than the other ones and the store was VERY clean and organized. They were busy but the service was fast. I highly recommend this store! Give the Manager a raise! I have never seen one this organized and maintained!!!"

"I only go every now and again when I need something to snack on real quick, but the lady that checked me out and the other gentleman who was stocking were so helpful! I forgot one of my bags for literally a minute."

"I like the Nederland DG and go there a lot. But, they've gotten bad about raising their prices without changing their tags. May just be 15-25 cents, but it adds up fast at the dollar store. Plus, when I've told them about it, they've been weeks in responding. Meanwhile, all shoppers, less fastidious about counting every penny than me, have been getting ripped off without realizing it. They're not so obliged to give the shelf tag price either like they should be. Whatever rings up is it, which is not only illegal, but poor customer service. Now, they are super-nice and polite and all those things, which is always a plus. BUT, they need to be more aware of their own price changes and either change the labels in a timely manner or be willing to give the customer the lower price advertised, regardless of what rings up. That store is pretty new, as it was relocated in recent years, so it's clean and pretty well kept up and stocked, so no trouble there. Just need to be more accommodating when customers bring things to their attention. No excuses."
