"Great place to get snacks and gas"

"I grew up outside of this neighborhood and I used to ride my bike to the store as a child all the years I lived there it has changed owners many times. But you would expect that the upkeep and maintenance of the store would be following the times. They don't offer premium gas at all which is what my car takes. The parking lot is cracked and broken which is dangerous to anybody trying to walk through it. Inside is outdated, might I add filthy. There are two gentlemen here one being the boss obviously it helps translate for the younger gentleman there. Which I have no problem with that but the one that's the boss seems to have a short temper and rude. One evening I let my friend drive my car which is a man and I was in the passenger seat because I was getting him to see how my steering was feeling in the car, my car is a BMW it has low profile rims on it, it cost a little money. When we arrived my friend was treated with the upmost customer service. And I was ignored whenever is my turn to get rung up. That's when I spoke up and asked if they have premium gas they looked at me funny and I said you know the high octane, the 93? I had my keys in my hand at that timeand said my car out there only takes that kind of gas, of course they didn't have it I knew they didn't but I just wanted to see if I was treated any different, and even if they had that gas I wouldn't get it anyway due to the fact of my knowledge of water being found in the fuel, and my history of doing commercial sales etc in auto parts, this store has been flagged as a store displaying consistency of having to repeatedly replace fuel pumps etc on vehicles that have been damaged after obtaining gas here. Also I know they can afford the upgrades the store/neighborhood deserves after years of being the go-to place for quick goods and groceries etc, along with tobacco and alcohol and lottery profits they now have a little game room in the back that I know gains consistent income. The only upgrades I've seen in this entire place has been that the lighting in the parking lot is so bright that you can land an airplane, and due to less than a couple years ago of them being robbed at gunpoint now they have two people on staff consistently, which my personal thoughts to this, not exactly best move. The front windows are blocked from the outside visually, so for employees or the public, the visual of perimeter is definitely not a deterent from future crimes, so the possibility of innocent bystanders becoming hurt in future crimes has not been a concern by no means for owner . So my complaints are customers being treated differently than others, not sure if it's based on class/sex/income, unsanitary conditions, certain areas of the location I would find unsafe."

"Store is a bit outdated and prices are a little higher than normal. However, the cashiers are always friendly if your friendly. Don’t go into this store with an attitude or you’ll get one back. If they don’t have something tour looking for all you have to do is make a request and if they are able to they will order it. The service is what made me give 5 stars. You can’t beat a place that knows you by name and your most frequently purchased items."
