"Food spot on. I was greeted immediately different options were given the speed of the food being cooked was on the money as far as amenities. I don’t know that you need that, but it could use a facelift more people would probably come in to eat instead of getting it to go."
"I can't rate it higher even though the shrimp is good because the poboy came dressed with coleslaw and tartar sauce. Who on earth thinks that's a good idea? I had to scrape all that off because I can't stand either of those things at any time, let alone on a poboy that should have mayo and pickles on it."
"First time eating there. I actually thought it was a place to buy fresh seafood and you cook at home. I had the grilled fish dinner and it was really good. It came with new red potatoes, corn on cob, coleslaw, and 2 pieces grilled fish ( I believe it was catfish) I would go back"

"This is one of the closest restaurants to where I live but it has taken me two years to give it a try. I called ahead and ordered a Whole Catfish Plate. I still had to wait a bit once I arrived so I wandered around the building checking it out. You can buy fresh seafood and the seasonings to fix it. The dining room consists of two rooms but it seems most people get it to go. The Catfish Plate includes a pound of catfish which was 4 whole fish in my case. It also includes fries, slaw, & hush puppies. The catfish was good and cooked well but I thought it could have used a bit more seasoning. I'm pretty sure the tartar sauce was from a bottle. (I'm a fan of a great homemade tartar sauce) The slaw was pretty good. My daughter loved it but I prefer the slaw at Dorcheat. The catfish lays on a pile of fries in the styrofoam box. The fries were just fries and didn't stand out in any way. It's a lot of food and I shared this plate with my wife & daughter. The plate cost me $14 with tax. Would I go back? I'm sure I will since it's close to the house but if I'm craving catfish, my favorite in the area is Dorcheat."
