"This is a great place for a night out, with a variety of bars, a secret passage and room, and a hot soaking pool. The rooms are very cozy if you choose to stay the night. The drinks and food selection are always satisfying."
"10 of us went for a early dinner. They seated us way back in a corner. No silverware or napkins. Prices are very expensive for food. Very small servings. I don't agree with dogs in a restaurant. There were 3 different dogs in this restaurant. I have a dog but I know I Don't have to take it everywhere with me. The waiter was great. Very attentive. I know I won't be back to eat here. I'm not sure how nine others in our group feel. But there were a lot of complaints about the prices."
"We spent a couple hours here drinking and hanging out. This place has a lot of room to roam around outside while you drink. Also they have very fun and well decorated bars. We spent time in Pats as well as the Docs bar. As usually the theme of mcmenamins can be felt all throughout the grounds. Great place to chill"
"A wonderfully interesting and delightfully decorated experience. The soaking pool was excellent and so peaceful. The bed was quite comfortable, pillows—not so much. Our rooms —private bath & King bed—was spacious and nice. Only other gripe: breakfast service was lacking. Semi-pleasant indifferent server took our order and forgot/ignored us except to bring the bill. Coffee was lukewarm. The menu mentioned “wild mushrooms” but they were just commercial grade. Having said that, the food was otherwise good and dinner very good with excellent attentive service (we don’t need a lot!) even tho we showed 15 min before close. Great cocktails! All other staff were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend but good help still hard to find for every spot in every place. Weeknight stay so very quiet."
