"HAL26, Honolulu to Portland, 06/27/23. The good: flight crew(totally awesome), one complimentary rum and juice, hot pocket thing, made it home(eventually). The bad: flight delayed an hour and a half in Honolulu, two gate changes In Honolulu, no updated information boards, sitting on the tarmac in Portland waiting for Captain Flashlight to guide us in, waiting 45 minutes for luggage, paid to upgrade seats but seats were not changed when checking in, eventually got worked out before boarding, arranged shuttles and transportation backed up and delayed due to Portland issues."

"Hawaiian airlines aka spirit airlines 2.0. I paid $110 to upgrade to comfort plus from portland to Honolulu. The online menu stated we would have two meals but they only served one. They also only did one complimentary drink service and all other beverages and snacks cost extra. You also had to walk to the back of the plane to purchase as they did not walk back through the cabin after the first time. There was also no airflow above the seat which made me uncomfortable sitting so close quarters. I would not recommend this airline for the cost. I would also recommend that the airline updates its online menu to match what is actually served on flight."

"Worst experience today at Maui with kid. One would think airlines would learn from their experiences, do good process improvements, plan for issues. Train people how to handle and in general in their own home state - if we can call have capacity of crews and people. Maui- Seattle ha 30’- the saga First the flight never pulled in into gate and we were simply told till 2.5 hrs - it is getting towed and will join in. Then it went to runway and realized an issue and again 1.5 hrs to 2.5 hrs on runway - to get gate and towing. Again told in another hour flight will be fixed and we will fly. After an hour we’re told they do not have crew so we will goto Honolulu and fly from there. And offcourse best was saved for last - another hour passed and the melee started- told flight is cancelled. 2. People at gate had different answers and no clarity- what happens to refund - how it will be refunded, what happens to payment of baggage, what happens to baggage, what about all the extra bookings of stay, travel, food. Was told - in hawai - 15 $ per person for food - where in Maui would you get and how long you need to drive to get that food. Worst part is 1000s of $ to be spent and then generic address given for contacting. So many families young kids were simply left to fend for themselves. People had to beg , request for sanity 3. Baggage claim - well you had to collect the baggage and recheck but only 2 people who would collect the baggage # and search and return - another 1.5 hours. Ceo/CFO/Operarions need to care about customers and specially during peak period. And leverage techonoloy and simple process to focus on customers.very clear pilot , baggage handlers, crew getting time off but passengers getting screwed. And ceo/cfo/cmo doing the rounds. Very sad to see no operations to handle - what looks like frequent issue for them. Offcourse I one individual person would now struggle to get my stay, travel, food, baggage and my log term stay at seattle airport parking. But today at this time I have decided no to Hawaiin air and their pathetic treatment. They should have spare capacity considering recent weather and issues . And this is their main destination:("

"I loved flying Hawaiian Airlines - great customer service, great comfy seats, good food, drinks, snacks and on time. Highly recommend ! Definitely would be flying Hawaiian Airlines again !"
