"Small memorial “park” in a residential neighborhood. Simple monument, no parking. There’s a Parrott Rifle, a flag pole, a trio of signs about Stuart, the monument, and the Battle of Yellow Tavern, respectively. Area is well kept, not well visited. I just parked on the side of the road at the street intersection at the top of the hill and walked down for a 5-10 minute visit. Very peaceful. The language used on the monument itself is pretty cringey though… “saved Richmond” and “fearless and faithful - pure and powerful - tender and true” all sounding pretty ridiculous considering the cause the man fought for. But, still a neat hidden tribute to an infamous, legendary soldier and the only real remaining remnant of the Battle of Yellow Tavern. Worth stopping by if in the area (two shopping centers up the road and the I-95/295/64 interchange) or if the battle is of interest to you."

"Beautiful monument. Very nicely displayed in a small park off the beaten path. Residents appear to take good care of the area so kudos to them."
