"The railroad museum that I had the pleasure of visiting was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff eager to answer any questions. The museum was clean, well-maintained, and had a great ambiance that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. For children who love trains, this museum is a dream come true. It offers many exhibits, displays, and interactive activities to keep them engaged and a small play area to get creative with other children visiting. The well-organized exhibits provide plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of trains, their development, and their role in transportation. One of the highlights of the museum was the collection of real-life train cars that visitors could explore. Seeing the old-fashioned trains and typical railroad historical items was very interesting. What impressed me the most about this museum was the effort put into making it family-friendly. Plenty of benches and seating areas, a gift shop filled with train-themed souvenirs, and more. In conclusion, I highly recommend this railroad museum to families with children interested in trains. It is a well-run, well-maintained, and engaging museum that offers a great educational experience. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about trains. All in all, a fantastic family day out!"

"Fun excursion, especially for the littles who enjoy trains and vehicles. The wooden train sets, puzzles and model train inside the station were a huge hit with our group, and the caboose was fun to walk through and get an idea of an "office" in the train. Thank you to all the volunteers/staff who were friendly and welcoming to us as we enjoyed the museum spaces."

"Great place for a family outing. Enjoy some time inside learning all about trains with interactive displays for children. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenic setting outside to end your day together."

"Nice museum for Northern Virginia history. With a mixture of railroad, Civil War and transportation. A "N" scale layout in the caboose is a plus."
