"New prescriptions can take 2 weeks (no joke). Even auto-refill prescriptions take days to fill where you can see the status staying at “in-progress” in your account. No matter how the prescription request is received- multiple faxes or calls from your doc or through your online account, you still have to call, wait on hold for 20+ minutes, and prompt the staff to fill the prescription. If you’re lucky enough to get to this point, the pharmacy is regularly out of medication and the pharmacy tech WILL NOT look up availability at other locations, or different dosage availability or brand options- they want your doctor to call around. After all of this, if by some miracle your prescription is actually filled AND is ready to pick up, you go past the active arrest taking place in front of the store only to find that the pharmacy is closed during business hours the rest of the day! I called a different Walgreens location and they answered in less than 5 minutes, were friendly and polite, and had the prescription filled in less than an hour. I don’t know why I have wasted so much time at the Lacey Blvd. location hoping for an improvement or how this location is still even allowed to operate."
"This will be the 3rd time I've had to wait on a prescription that I needed same day. They were ordered early morning and still not filled my EOD. Just called and they are "temporary closed".. it's 3:40pm on a Thursday. I would highly suggest choosing a better pharmacy. Edit: I just called the pharmacy on Martin Way. They transfered my prescription and said it will be ready in 2 hrs."
"Rx is never ready on time. This is a dangerous practice for people who depend on life saving medications. They just do not seem to care."
"They do not even bother answering the phone when they are busy. I think that is ridiculous and uncaring attitude. I do not recommend this branch to fill your prescription when you have another choice."
