"I'm disappointed that some of the biggest parts involving the history of this home and everything that Mr. Deed's got involved in, built, discovered or invented isn't still here. The landing strip is gone. The building leading to the landing strip was gutted. The tunnel entrance is boarded up. I'm glad the current contract with Kettering states the history that still remains must stay in tact but passing by I've seen construction vehicles on site. If you get a chance to visit this place, please do. Heck, even his luggage with all of the things he last packed inside them still remain. There's an indoor shooting range he created way back then. I believe you can stay at the place for a price, take a tour, and I think they still do weddings and other important gatherings."
