"Despite this store being relatively well stocked, the limited parking and awful attitudes of their employees is enough to make me travel farther to the liquor store on SE 73rd off of TV Hwy, where they are also well stocked, parking is better, plus I always feel welcomed and valued! Unfortunately Baseline Liquor had gone downhill. When they had first opened, it was completely different. Too bad.... Do yourself a favor and go to a place where you aren't treated like a burden to deal with."
"Recently visited on 10/1 around 11:10am. Upon reaching the counter, my boyfriend and I were asked for our photo ID. My boyfriend said, “We didn’t even get a chance to ask for anything.” The employees response was, “It’s protocol.” I understand protocol ONLY if you were asking all customers the same question. Since you only asked us, it leads me to feel it was driven by other factors. We’ll just say nobody else in the store looked like us. The employees sarcasm at the end of the transaction wasn’t needed. If my boyfriend and I responded with the same energy, we would’ve been the “aggressors”. With neighborhood businesses, a reminder your paycheck is possible because of customers. Providing decent customer service costs you zero dollars. I have purchased from this store several times prior to this visit and introduced friends and family to this store. After being treated like this, I will take my business elsewhere where I’m treated with respect. The cashier is caucasian female, dark hair, dark frame glasses, and has coral almond nails."
